Just one month after they announced their engagement, rocker Ryan Adams and pop singer/actress Mandy Moore got married in a secret ceremony in Savannah, Georgia this Tuesday. Representatives for both stars have confirmed to Usmagazine.
Moore, 24, and Adams, 34, dated for a few months before splitting last July. Moore's last public romance was with Adam Goldstein, a.k.a. DJ AM, whom she visited in the burn unit after his plane crash with Blink-182's Travis Barker. But their relationship didn't last long and soon after that, Adams and Moore reunited and got engaged.
After confirming the engagement, Mandy said she wanted the wedding to be "less... of a big deal," adding that she has never been "that kind of girl" who obsesses over her wedding day. "I kind of feel like, because I've been able to get married in a few films, I kind of got the whole giant wedding fuss out of my system," she confessed.
This is the first marriage for both of them, although Moore has been engaged once before, to Scrubs actor Zach Braff.
