Contrary to the lately rumors, Josh Groban and Katy Perry are not dating, their relationship is purely platonic.
Reports began to emerge this week that the I Kissed a Girl singer and the operatic-pop star were romantically involved, but Groban's representative, Luke Burland, put an end to the talk with a polite statement. He told People that "Josh and Katy are very close friends and hang out, but they are not a couple.”
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who broke the rumour earlier this week, claimed the two had "been trying to keep it very low profile." Groban, 28, was linked to Perry, 24, after he attended her Los Angeles show in February.
Meanwhile, Katy has not yet commented on the dating rumors. After splitting with Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy in January, she is currently touring in support of her debut album, One of the Boys. As for Josh, he reportedly has been working on a new album.
