Roger Federer to Be a Dad!

Match point Federer! The Swiss tennis star is going to be a father soon! His girlfriend, Miroslava 'Mirka' Vavrinec, is expecting the couple's first child, Roger Federer happily announced on his website on Thursday.

“I have some really awesome news to share with all of you: Mirka and I are excited to let you know that we will be parents this summer! Mirka is pregnant and we are so happy to be starting a family together,” the 27-year-old tennis player wrote in the message to his fans.

Just weeks after their high-profile appearance together at the Oscars, which fuelled rumours that wedding bells might be ringing for the couple, the actress was reportedly dumped by Mayer when she returned home from Europe where she was promoting her new movie, Marley & Me.

Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze, 56, who has been battling pancreatic cancer for over a year, is very disappointed by the media reports claiming that he is nearing his end. He is speaking out after the National Enquirer printed a story about his health with the headline “The End”, using a photo of a thin Swayze, taken last week while he was leaving a doctor's office.

Just one month after they announced their engagement, rocker Ryan Adams and pop singer/actress Mandy Moore got married in a secret ceremony in Savannah, Georgia this Tuesday. Representatives for both stars have confirmed to Usmagazine.

ashleesimpson Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has confirmed that she will star as a lead on the CW's new version of Melrose Place this fall. T.i. will be her first time back on television series since landing her breakthrough role on 7th Heaven seven years ago.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the cast of Melrose Place and I look forward to being a part of its new generation of residents," Simpson-Wentz said in a statement.

Dakota Fanning Confirmed for Twilight: New Moon Role

Yes, the rumors are true. After weeks of speculation, Dakota Fanning has officially joined the cast of Twilight's highly anticipated sequel, New Moon, Summit Entertainment confirmed this weekend.

The 15-year-old actress, whose breakthrough role was in the 2001 film I Am Sam, will play Jane, a sinister vampire with an angelic exterior who is a member of the Italian Volturi family.
