It smells like Hollywood for the Slumdog Millionaire starlet, Freida Pinto, as she has signed on to star in Woody Allen’s next film alongside none other than Hollywood heartthrob, 48-year-old Legend of Zorro star, Antonio Banderas.
“[It is] very difficult to say no to Woody Allen,” Banderas said. “There are great actors who have appeared in just single scenes of his films, because that means next to a legend, a man who has made history.”
Reports have revealed that Pinto will also share screen space with Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins in the upcoming film. Allen has not yet revealed the title or any plot details about the movie, but shooting is scheduled to begin in London this summer.
We also know that Pinto has decided to move to New York to focus on her career in Hollywood. She is the one who has started her career as a model in Mumbai and then saw the rapid growth to stardom that took her to the heights of Hollywood.
