There has been widespread speculation that Britney Spears would be joined onstage by Madonna at her upcoming New York concert. The reports began when David Alexander, claiming to be Britney’s stylist, said that Madonna was set to join the star at a series of shows, in support of Brit’s Circus Tour.
Rumours were further fuelled when Madonna made a surprise visit to watch the Toxic singer last week at New York's Nassau Coliseum, although she did not join her onstage.
However, according to a statement on Britney’s official website, she has no plans to have Madonna guest star and they don’t even know this stylist guy. The statement says, “Despite rumors otherwise, at the moment Britney has no plans to collaborate with anyone in the near future at any of her upcoming performances.” And it continues, “David Alexander is not Britney's stylist nor have we ever heard of him.”
So it looks like it will be just Brit when she hits European shores this summer.
