Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Expecting Baby No. 2

joel and nicole It doesn't seem that long ago that Nicole Richie was a skinny coke head driving into oncoming traffic and paling around with skanky Paris Hilton on their show "The Simple Life." Of the two stars, Paris continues to live in the party past while Nicole has left the wild days behind her and settled down to start a family with partner Joel Madden.

With their beautiful daughter Harlow just a year old, Joel announced yesterday that Nicole is pregnant with their second child.

Slumdog Millionaire Strikes it Rich at Oscars

slumdog Slumdog Millionaire won Best Picture last night in an eight Oscar haul at the 81st annual Academy Awards as Bollywood ruled Hollywood for the evening.

The rags-to-riches story was heavily favored to win the top award and it didn't disappoint. Another easy pick was the Best Supporting Actor statue which went to the late Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight, an award which was tearfully accepted by three family members.

Jessica Alba Named Worst actress in Online Latino Awards

Finally, Jessica Alba has been recognized for something - although this probably isn't what she was hoping for. The Fantastic Four actress got the most votes as the Worst Latino Actress of 2008.

Latina.com's second annual 'Lazzie Awards' dishonored the actress with two awards: one collective award for her entire range of performances for "everything she was in last year" and one in particular for the megaflop 'The Love Guru.'

jessica alba cash warren Jessica Alba says the press spoiled her wedding day by releasing news of the double secret event of the 8-month-pregnant and engaged Alba to Cash Warren. She says her parents learned about it through another source rather than from their own daughter.

God forbid that she ask her own freaking parents to attend her once-in-a-lifetime wedding to the father of her child - but hey, that's not the issue here!

watts Insufferable cow Naomi Watts thinks the world's economic crisis is too bad so sad - for everybody else, but she thinks actors should be paid like the old days. She whines at the unfairness of it all, that entertainers are getting a little less because of the whole pesky recession thingy.

She says, "I'm doing a movie now where it's the least I've been paid in about ten years."

50 Cent Ready to Quit Rapping [After] 'Before I Self Destruct'

50 cent 50 Cent is dropping hints that he's done with rap. Unless, he changes his mind and decides he's not done with rap. He explains why the next album could be his last. "It could very well be my last studio album if it doesn't make sense for me to continue and actually do it."

'Before I Self Destruct' is set to drop March 24. But the G-Unit star might stay, he says, because he'll be at the top of the game while other rappers are getting old and lazy.

rihanna It took all of a week but the photos proving Rhianna's facial injuries from her smack down by boyfriend Chris Brown has been posted by TMZ. If it is RiRi - and the woman is so badly bruised that she's almost unrecognizable - it sheds new light on her claims of violent abuse.

Perhaps it was "leaked" because Brown had said much of what has been reported of the incident is untrue...

Would Kate Walsh be willing to return to save 'Grey's Anatomy' ~~when~~ if Katherine Heigl and TR Knight depart the Seattle hospital drama series? When she arrived at a pre-Oscar party in Beverly Hills Wednesday night, Us magazine popped the question to the star of 'Private Practice.'

"I might," she boldly predicted. "I'm not gonna say. Who knows what's in the mind of [show creator] Shonda Rhimes."

pattinson It's like Bart Simpson would say, "I didn't think it was physically possible, but this both sucks and blows." How bad is Sunday night's Oscar telecast going to be since they not only nominated a bunch of films nobody has seen, they ignored one of the year's best pictures, 'The Dark Knight,' for a Best Picture nomination?

The producers are resorting to stunt casting by bringing in Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus to make appearances during the show in the hopes that someone will watch this trainwreck. But they are also trying to get T.i.ight's Robert Pattinson to show up to entice viewers to tune in.

rihanna and Chris Brown After a beat down by boyfriend Chris Brown a week ago, there have been conflicting reports as to how Rihanna is doing. One day "insiders" say she's fine and her injuries weren't that bad, the next day we hear a contradicting story that she's suffering from headaches and that she's “torn” over her parents’ pleas to cooperate with police.

“I mean, damn, her eye’s black and the sides of her face are all f—-d up,” a friend told Us Weekly. “But she keeps saying she still loves him.”
