Madonna's teen daughter Lourdes Leon has enrolled at New York Professional Children's School since moving to the Big Apple with her mother, following Madge's divorce from Brit Guy Ritchie. The 12-year-old Lourdes wants to pursue her interest in acting, a career that has proven elusive to her mother.
"Lourdes is desperate to become an actress and has joined Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School," a source told London's Daily Mail.
"She is determined to prove herself and plans to throw herself into studying the technique."
The uni-browed child was apparently approached a year ago to appear in the movie 'The Secret Life Of Bees' – but had to turn down the part because Madonna didn’t want competition in the family her getting into show business at such a young age.
Nevertheless, Madge is going to let her take some drama classes. Maybe Lourdes can give mommy a few tips...
The New York drama school has some famous alumni including Macaulay Culkin, Tara Reid, Scarlett Johansson and Sarah Jessica Parker.
