Rapper Lil Kim was a Big part of the late Notorious B.I.G.'s life but she ain't happy with not being cast in the movie the way she's portrayed in the biopic about him. She has issued a hissy fit statement to the AP about Biggie Small's 'Notorious':
"The film studio and producers involved were more concerned about painting me as a 'character' to create a more interesting story line instead of a person with talent, self-respect and who was able to achieve her own career success through hard work."
"Even though my relationship with Big was at times very difficult and complicated (as with most relationships we have all experienced at one time or another), it was also genuine and built on great admiration and love for each other. Regardless of the many lies in the movie and false portrayal of me to help carry a story line through, I will still continue to carry his legacy through my hard work and music."
Biggie' moms Violetta Wallace commented on Lil Kim's accusations: "This is not a Lil Kim movie. This is a Christopher Wallace movie. It has nothing to do with Lil Kim. If she's disappointed and upset, that is her problem."
Producer Diddy wanted to get in on the publicity too! His comments on Lil Kim were: “I can’t believe this sh*t. This ain’t about her. She needs to grow up and stop being a baby.”
It's well known that the tiny rapper wanted to play herself in the movie (she is portrayed by Naturi Naughton) but producers said no because of her weight gain and all the plastic surgeries. Lil Kim says she's going to boycott the movie.
"Notorious", which opens Friday, chronicles the life and death of the Notorious B.I.G., who was shot to death in 1997.
