Actor Johnny Depp is about to make his decade long commitment to French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis official. It's not clear what has changed in their relationship for them to want to get hitched all of the sudden. Paradis had told Elle in October that she already felt “more married than anybody can be - we have two kids”.
According to MTV news, the couple are rumored to be planning an April wedding to be held in a chapel at their $1.25 million estate in France where they will invite only about 50 family members and close friends.
Depp has said he'd hate for marriage to ruin her "beautiful" last name.
"It would be such a drag to stick her with Paradis-Depp. It's like a flat note!,” Depp said in 2005, adding: “For all intents and purposes, we are married. We have two kids together and she is the woman in my life.”
"But if she ever said, 'Hey, let's get hitched', I would do it in a second."
