So Brad Pitt is telling W magazine that Angelina Jolie wasn't responsible for his divorce from Jennifer Aniston even though Jen told Vogue magazine that it was "uncool" of Ange to tell The New York Times that she fell in love with Brad while filming 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' in 2005- when Jen was still wed to Brad.
So while Jen is suggesting that it was underhanded of Ange to steal her man, Brad denies the claim using some poor memory skills and states flatly that there was no "dastardly affair."
He tells W magazine that the movie shoot took over a year to complete and it continued filming even after he and Jen separated. Brad says, "... it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful."
In a surprising revelation, Brad also mentioned that he stays in touch with Jennifer.
"Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart," Pitt says. "I think she got dragged into that one, and then there's a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It's so created."
"We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don't see how there cannot be [that]. That's life, man. That's life."
