Tough guy actor and former British soccer star Vinnie Jones got the shit kicked out of him in a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, bar after he head-butted a man who asked him if he was 'the guy from X-Men 3'.
The 'Snatch' and 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' actor, who took up acting after he retired from pro soccer, was in the area to do some pheasant hunting. He stopped in to Wiley's Tavern for a drink but came unglued when he was asked the simple question.
Juan Barrera, 24, said his roommates were playing pool when Jones approached and asked to play. He said his friend, Jesse Bickett, 24, of Montrose told Jones he'd have to wait. That's when one of them asked Jones whether he was "that guy from X-Men 3."
The actor, who was reportedly drunk, took the remark as some sort of insult.
"He got offended by that, and he started pushing my other friends around. He said he's been in so many other movies or whatever," Barrera said.
Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Tim Hagen said people were pushing and shoving when Jones charged at Bickett, who then hit the actor in the face with a beer glass, cutting his nose badly. "He got the worst end of that deal."
Barrera said he countered with one or two punches to Jones' face, then knocked him to the floor before Wiley's staff escorted Barrera outside.
"His whole face was covered in blood," Barrera said of Jones. "I just walked out the restroom, didn't say a word to him ... and he struck me in the mouth."
Cops arrested Jones at a nearby hospital and took him to the police station. He faces charges for assault. Bickett faces the more serious charge of aggravated assault.
Despite cuts and bruises to his face, the tough guy actor continued his pheasant hunting vacation with friends.
