The younger brother of "Zodiac" actor Mark Ruffalo is listed in critical condition after being shot in the head early on the morning of December 1 in his apartment in Beverly Hills.
Details surrounding the shooting of Scott Ruffalo, who is a hairdresser, is very murky. According to TMZ the police are investigating it as a “suspicious shooting.”
Jessica Kolstad, publicist for the "13 Going on 30" actor, confirmed that 39-year-old Scott was found early Monday with a gunshot wound to the head.
People magazine reports that the shooting occurred around 1:40 a.m. in the condominium on North Palm Drive in which the younger Ruffalo lived.
Beverly Hills police spokesman Lt. Tony Lee stated that it was "suspicious activity" that had taken place at the location and time of the shooting but wouldn't elaborate.
Cops are trying to determine if the shooting was an accidental shooting, a suicide attempt or if something “criminal went down.”
