Publicly, Guy Ritchie has said that he doesn't want any of ex-wife Madonna's fortune, he just wants his freedom, blah, blah, blah. So why is she giving him $64 million (£32 M) to go away and STFU after their quickie divorce?
He is reportedly getting the lump sum as payoff if he lets her keep their London home in Marylebone, AND if he signs away rights to his half of a £120 million fortune she earned during their 7 1/2 year marriage to him -- although she's worth far more than that.
News of the World reports a source says: “He is getting one lump sum imminently. Guy wanted to stay in their London home but Madonna refused to split it in two, and eventually gave him £12 million as compensation. She decided early on that he should get Ashcombe."
A friend of Madonna said: “She is fed- up at reports that Guy is walking away with no money—she has sorted his finances for life.”
It breaks out this way: Ritchie gets the cash sum of £12 million as well as the couple's 1,200 acre Ashcombe House country estate in Wiltshire which is worth about £20 million. Ritchie will also keep his £3 million Punchbowl pub located near Ashcombe.
