British actor Daniel Radcliffe now realizes and accepts the fact that he has the 'Harry Potter' movie franchise to thank for his $40 million bank account his fame and acting career.
Though Radcliffe, 19, seemingly has taken on other film and stage gigs to slip the bonds of his teen Potter image - like appearing nude onstage for 'Equus' - he says the wizard flicks have "given him everything."
He says, "It's a reality you have to come to terms with - rather than letting it bother you, just accept the fact that there will always be some people who will forever see you for the one part you are most famous for.
It's not that I want to distance myself from it because... they've given me everything," Radcliffe says.
"It's just a matter of being an actor rather than a character."
