Former Desperate Housewives' hottie Jesse Metcalfe is recovering after tumbling off a balcony while at a party in Monaco and falling 30-40 feet to the ground. He's been flown to London to have a C-scan performed.
His mouthpiece issued a statement: "Jesse accidentally slipped off a balcony and was knocked unconscious, but he is fine and now recovering from some minor bruises in a London hospital." Minor bruises?? WTF, the dude broke his leg!
The actor was hosting the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo when he slipped as he headed back to his hotel in order to change.
The MRI done at a London hospital showed that Jesse suffered no brain damage but he's in a wheelchair because of a fractured fibula.
"Jesse knows he's had a very lucky escape. The accident could have been fatal," the Sun quoted Jesse's spokesman, as saying.
