Are you surprised that Brooke Burke and partner Derek Hough won the seventh season of 'Dancing With the Stars' last night? Brooke and Derek sure were: "Unbelievable!" they gushed in unison.
The actress and former 'Rock Star' host showed she had the skills and combined them with ambitious dance routines with Derek to take home the coveted mirror ball trophy.
"I actually can't believe it, I really can't, I honestly can't," Hough told host Tom Bergeron. "It's just the journey's been so long. It's been tough, it's been wonderful, it's been everything I could ever hope for and wow, I can't believe we actually did it, girl!"
Brooke and Derek, who danced the Viennese waltz, scored a perfect 30 out of 30 in their final showcase.
NFL star Warren Sapp and partner Kym Johnson picked up surprise second place in the two-hour season finale. Lance Bass danced like a pro (well, isn't he?) as he and partner Lacey Schwimmer performed well enough for a standing ovation yet didn't have enough votes to climb past third place.
"This has been the most fun that I've ever had in my entire life. I had no clue I was gonna be here in the finals," Bass told Bergeron after learning of his third-place finish.
Bass also said he expects some to get ribbing from his former N'Sync bandmate and fourth-season Dancing with the Stars runner-up Joey Fatone.
"Joey will never let me live it down though that I'm third and not second," Bass said.
