Strictly third hand gossip, and the script isn't even written, but fans are abuzz about the new rumor that Rhona Mitra is being considered to play a major villain in the future 'Batman 3' film.
The latest juicy tidbit comes from Batman-On-Film, which is saying that the "Underworld" actress could be a leading candidate for the role of Catwoman - that is, IF that character were to appear in the film even though no one involved in the production has even hinted at such a thing. But who doesn't love a good rumor?
At least it will put to rest those sorry rumors that Cher is actually being considered for the role. Sheesh!
The athletic Rhona, 32, got incredibly fit to do the ass-kicking in the futuristic Neil Marshall film 'Doomsday' and could certainly hold her own on screen next to her British counterpart, Christian Bale , who plays Batman.
Lately, Rhona's career has been on double secret probation since she finished shooting "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" last spring.
But here's another rumor: she's believed to be shooting the romantic comedy "The Truth About Men" in New Zealand right now.
"Underworld 3" is due to be released in theaters on 29 January 2009.
