The replacement for 50-year-old Madonna has appeared on the scene. She's the new girlfriend of 40-year-old director Guy Ritchie and she's also in his new movie, "Sherlock Holmes."
Us Weekly is reporting that actress Kelly Reilly, 31, is the gal to bring a smile to Guy's face after a lengthy, sad marriage to Madonna that was plagued in recent years by emotional and perhaps even physical abuse.
Us reports that it only took 3 days after Guy and Madonna announced they were divorcing that the director packed his bags and moved out of their London mansion and into the Chatham hotel — where Reilly is also staying.
More details are coming out about the marriage. On insider says, "Madonna would taunt Guy, saying, 'I should have married someone like me: strong, hot-blooded, intelligent, ambitious, spiritual.' Their fights would often get heated. A few times Madonna slapped him or poked him."
"Guy called her old, fat, ugly and wrinkled and said that she was stupid and couldn't sing," another Madonna pal tells Us.
This could mark the beginning of good days for Guy. His career - which was red hot before he met Madonna - has been plagued by a string of bad films. His next film, Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr - and Kelly - should be a hit.
