Anne Hathaway’s super rich rat bag of a boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was sentenced Thursday to spend 4 1/2 years as a guest of the feds in a prison of their choice. Follieri plead guilty last month to charges of conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering.
According to investigators, Follieri told investors that he had connections to the Vatican that allowed him access to buy the Catholic Church’s "unwanted" real estate property at a cheap rate.
The 29-year-old douchebag also claimed he managed the Vatican’s financial affairs and met with the Pope.
Even after stealing people's money, he still insists that he's a great guy!
Follieri made a statement saying, “The most important thing I want the court to know is I was not raised with bad values… I started off with good intentions, determined to run an honorable business and make everyone proud of me.”
He added, “What I did was wrong and there is no point in making excuses… I will never be able to wash away the shame… I just hope that someday those who have been hurt by my actions will forgive me.”
