Rumer Willis reveals in a new interview with Cosmopolitan that she used to crush on Ashton Kutcher - but before he married her mother and became her stepdad. The daughter of Demi Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis said she found it difficult to comprehend that her mother was dating the 'Punk'd' star, who is 15 years Demi's junior.
She said: "It was strange when mom started seeing Ashton in 2003. I was 15 and he was a real heartthrob - I had pictures of him on my wall! I remember mom saying her new 'friend' was going to hang out with us. I said, 'What's his name?' And she goes, 'Ashton."
"And I said, 'Whoa - Ashton Kutcher?' I freaked out a bit and blushed. When he came round, though, it wasn't awkward. I realised I'd never seen my mother happier. It was like watching two 16-year-olds going to the prom!"
She added: "Ashton is like a father figure, in that I respect him and ask him for advice. But he is also someone I can relate too. I see him more as an older brother or uncle."
The Tater Headed Rumer has also scored yet another acting gig - this plumb one is a guest spot on CSI: NY. Cuz when your parents are Hollywood names like Bruce and Demi, you are guaranteed a Tinseltown career whether you have talent or not.
The 20-year-old actress will be playing a character by the name of Mac Taylor, which is also the name of the series’s lead detective (played by Gary Sinise). The ep revolves around a serial killer who’s out to get all people with the name Mac Taylor.
Just last month, it was announced that Rumer also scored a cameo on Army Wives and she also appeared in the movie The House Bunny.
