"Project Runway" judge Nina Garcia has landed a gig on a new fashion reality TV show. The spicy Columbian will be starring in "Running in Heels" in 2009 which will follow the staff at women's magazine Marie Claire, which Garcia joined a short while ago after being sort of fired leaving her long-time position at Elle magazine.
Heels will showcase the behind-the-scenes work of 15 Marie Claire employees from haughty editors down to the 'Ugly Betty' interns manning the phones, with two being highlighted each week.
"Running in Heels" is Marie Claire's answer to Elle's competitive TV show, "Stylista."
In related news, there are rumors that Jennifer Lopez will be the celebrity judge for the Project Runway finale.
Nina, who isn't leaving the show. couldn't confirm it but says, "I don't know if it's her. I don't...But whoever it is, [the designer contestants] should be scared."
