Gary Coleman, the well-known child actor who starred on "Diff'rent Strokes" in the eighties, is back in the news with another embarrassing incident. The pint-size star doesn't appear to enjoy being approached by fans for an autograph and sometimes goes nuclear when it happens.
Reports state that Coleman, 40, was out for a night of bowling with his wife, Shannon Price, in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday. He was approached by a man named Colt Rushton, who asked if he could take a photo of Coleman. Hilarity ensued.
According to his bodyguard, Coleman politely declined - but Rushton continued to pester him. Police Lt Bill Wright said the star then argued about pictures the fan was taking.
Reports said Rushton accused Shannon Price of taking his cellphone and that Coleman threw several punches at him before getting behind the wheel. When Coleman was backing out of his parking spot, the actor struck the 24-year-old man with his truck. Police said it was unclear whether he hit the man on purpose.
No-one was cited over this latest incident and Rushton was treated for minor injuries.
