Actor Alec Baldwin has launched yet another scathing attack on ex-wife Kim Basinger accusing her of turning their daughter against him. The couple, who were married for 9 years before divorcing in 2002, have had an ongoing public spat over custody and visitation time regarding their 12-year-old daughter Ireland for several years.
Baldwin, who famously called his kid a "thoughtless little pig" in a private phone message that was leaked to the 'net, is livid at Basinger. He says, "T.i.k I'm walking stiffly? Yeah, there's a 120 pound actress on my back."
"Parental alienation is about people who narcissistically project their whole reality on to a child - 'I don't need you, so the child doesn't need you'. The goal of the alienating parent is to kill contiguous time. People need reliability. They need regularity. And I've been the victim of a campaign to kill all of that."
He adds, "You end up being more an uncle than a father."
All true. But leaving cruel, angry, vicious, name-calling, hurtful messages on your child's phone message machine didn't help either.
