A jealous Solange Knowles was so bothered by some pre-interview mentions of her sister that she inadvertently spilled the beans about her big sister Beyonce's "secret" marriage to rapper Jay-Z - which everybody riding on the planet already knows about anyway.
According to reports, Solance was approached off camera at Fox 5 TV in Las Vegas where she dropped by to promote her album and told station people she wouldn't discuss reports about Jay selling his 40/40 Club in Vegas or talk about Beyonce - which is just what went down. When she was very warmly introduced as being the lil sis of someone famous - SPARKS FLEW!!
Solange was introduced and went on the show. Then, without mentioning the off air conversation, she launched an attack on the host. No one knew what she was talking about cuz Sol had just seen playback of a promo spot on Jay-Z - only the clip wasn't played live on TV and hadn't been shown yet.
“I have to say, that was not a very professional introduction before,” she said to the confused host. “Please don’t talk me into family and my brother-in-law’s establishment… just a few minutes ago.”
Say what? And there it was. She had embarrassed herself AND confirmed her sister’s marriage to the hip-hop legend by calling him “brother-in-law”.
Then, as the host apologizes (not knowing what she was apologizing for), Solange is told by a voice off-screen that she was mistaken: “That wasn’t live, Solange, that wasn’t on TV.”
