Paris Hilton is being sued by Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc. for $75,000 for not fulfilling "promotional obligations" related to her 2006 bomb, 'National Lampoon’s Pledge T.i.!' in which she played the president of an exclusive sorority.
The company claims the paid-to-party heiress was supposed to "reasonably promote" the film and do publicity but Paris was a no-show. But get this, the company paid Paris, a whopping $1 million for her "acting services"!
Who'd of thunk it? Paris Hilton commanding a million dollars per picture as an actress?
Hilton's breach of contract cost the producers of the film ''lost revenue and profits,'' according to the suit, filed in Miami federal court Tuesday.
Pledge This!, which cost more than $6 million to make, only had a limited release before it went to video in December 2006.
In her defense, Paris will likely testify that the movie sucked and any promotion on her part would not have helped ticket sales anyway.
