'Hairspray' star Nikki Blonsky and her father were arrested after a bizarre brawl with 'America's Top Model' contestant Bianca Golden at a Caribbean island airport on Wednesday.
All three were taken into custody by police in the Turks and Caicos Islands - after a fight over seats in the departure lounge. The dust up was apparently so violent Nikki had to wear a neck brace to her court hearing, her father is sitting in jail, and Bianca's mom is undergoing treatment at a Miami hospital.
The altercation is alleged to have started in the departure lounge at the Providenciales International Airport after Nikki attempted to save five seats for her family. Bianca and her family came in and there was nowhere to sit.
The Goldens asked the Blonsky's to move some luggage sitting on seats to the floor; racial insults were allegedly hurled back and forth, then punches were thrown.
On a video shot of the celebrity feud, Nikki's mom pops up to say that Nikki was "just sitting there" when she was "punched in the head."
The reports claim Bianca's mom Elaine was badly injured in the fight and was flown to Miami to receive medical care. Reports indicate she was hit in the head by a "large man" - believed to be Nikki's dad Carl.
According to reports, Bianca, 19, has been charged with assault; Nikki, also 19, with actual bodily harm and her father, Carl, is charged with grievous bodily harm. Carl has reportedly been remanded in custody until August 8th.
All parties are due to appear in court at the end of the month. A spokesperson for the Hairspray star has refused to comment.
