Jessica Simpson to Market Skanky Beer

jessica simpsonIn an attempt to win over football fans, Jessica Simpson is endorsing a new brew, called Stampede Light PLUS, for a Dallas brewery. Claiming she's making a "smart choice" with a "smart beer", the sometime actress who can't tell chicken from tuna believes the concoction is good for one's active lifestyle.

Stampede Light Plus Beer is described as a low-carb, low-calorie vitamin beer designed to "support an active lifestyle."

"I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while," Romo's gal says in the ad. "That's why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede Light, it's beer plus."

"As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people," she said in a statement to the Dallas Morning News.

Bleh! If you're going to drink beer, drink beer! If you're going to swill crap because Jess drinks this stuff - this bud's for you! Jessica gets 15 percent of the profits so drink up Jess fans.
