Jay-Z says keeping things real and sacred is the reason he won't talk about his secret marriage to Beyonce. "I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself," he says in the September issue of Vibe, hinting that they're hitched but admitting nothing.
"You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you," he adds. "I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to."
Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, were married last April in a "very special, very private, very intimate" rooftop ceremony, according to a source close to the couple.
Beyonce also showed off her wedding ring for the first time on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden where Jay-Z was performing. He was spotted wearing his ring last week.
Someone should tell him no one gives a damn whether they are married or not. Don't most people leave them alone anyway?
