Claymate fans rejoice: Clay Aiken and his female friend/partner Jaymes Foster welcomed a child together in North Carolina this morning. The American Idol star's mom, Faye Aiken, told the Raleigh radio station WRAL that her son's longtime producer gave birth to son Parker Foster Aiken at 8:08 a.m. in the singer's home state.
Parker tipped the scales at 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measured in at 19 inches. His 50-year-old mom is reportedly doing well too.
Foster is believed to have been artificial inseminated rather than Aiken having to do any dirty deeds.
Interesting sidenote ... Clay's mom says the baby arrived at 8:08 today. Are you kidding? Born on 8/08/08 at 8:08? Obviously a scheduled C-section to hit that mark!
