Zac Efron is 20 and Wants Out of High School!

Zac Efron has had enough of the squeaky-clean image and the bubble gum teen musicals and wants to do "something dark." Well, that's what HE wants - but the studio that owns him says he's gonna be doing a remake of 'Footloose'.

During Sunday night's Teen Choice Awards, which he attended with girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, 20, Zac told OK!, "I'm looking for something new and exciting to do. I want to do something dark or a comedy. There's tons of icons that I would love to work with on something new and exciting."

Charlie Sheen has been ID'd as the highest paid TV actor in Tinseltown making a ridiculous $825,000 per episode of his half hour comedy "Two and a Half Men." That's more than Keifer Sutherland in '24', or even CSI star and exec producer William Petersen who has to make do with $600,000 an episode.

So for a 22-minute show, Charlie makes like $37,500 PER MINUTE which is about what most Americans make in a year...no wonder Denise Richards is always wanting mo' money out of this guy!

paris_hilton and mccain Bubblehead Paris Hilton is back in the news thanks to a mention in a national campaign ad by Sen. John McCain's camp. In the ad, Barack Obama is compared to being a "big celebrity", just like Britney and Paris, and that Americans didn't need a celebutard for president. With her star wanning, Paris jumped at the chance to get back in the headlines and put out a video, mocking herself and issuing forth her own energy policy.
