Josh Brolin was arrested early Saturday morning at a bar in Shreveport, Louisiana. Josh, who is playing the part of George Bush in Oliver Stone's film 'W', along with his W co-star Jeffrey Wright and some crew members, were apparently at the Stray Cat bar in the wee hours when a scuffle occurred and Josh messed with some of the 10 cops who arrived to restore order.
The Shreveport Times reports: According to Shreveport Police patrol report, officers were called to the Stray Cat bar in the 200 block of Travis Street just after 2 a.m. to deal with a rowdy patron.
As more officers arrived, several other patrons at the bar, including Brolin, 40, and Wright, 42, tried to impede the officers, the report said. In all, the report named 10 officers called to the ruckus.
A Brolin 'insider' dismissed the incident saying the actor was not involved in a physical scuffle, and it wasn't even a scuffle - why, cops musta just happened by and arrested people for kicks: "[Josh] was released very soon after the incident," the source told the Daily News. "It was not a bar fight. It wasn't a physical situation."
Brolin was released from jail after paying $334 bail; Wright wasn't listed in police booking records as of Saturday evening.
"W," Stone's story on the life of George W. Bush, began filming in Shreveport in May. Brolin plays President Bush and Wright plays former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
