Who knew Madonna was such a big baseball fan! Now ex-steroid slugger Jose Canseco has come forth with some juicy gossip and announced that HE, not A-Rod, was the Material Girl's first round draft choice.
"She wanted to get married and have a child with me – she wanted a Cuban child," the handsome baller claims to Us Weekly mag. Jose says that she tried to seduce him while he was still married, then told him she would take care of him if he left his wife.
Canseco recalls: "We went downstairs [at her house in the Hollywood Hills] and she came over and said, 'What would you do if I kissed you?' and then sat on my lap and kissed me."
"But I then told her I was trying to work things out with my wife. That if I left her I would lose a lot of money and she said, 'I have lots of money. Don't worry about that'."
"I had to leave at that point so I got up and left."
That took place in 1991. Madonna later hooked up with another fit Cuban, Carlos Leon, and had a daughter, Lourdes, by the trainer in 1996.
Canseco also said in the interview that he "hates" Alex Rodriguez for hitting on his wife way back.
In related news, Jose is about to lose his Encino California estate to foreclosure. He says his financial woes are in large part due to his multiple marriages & subsequent divorces. Canseco seemed resigned to walk away from his $2.5 million estate.
