Jamie Lynn Spears is keeping it real and sounding upbeat about being a teen mom and says she looks forward to the day when she's an actively involved soccer mom. Mm-kay. She was probably more thrilled at the coin OK! laid out to her ($1 million!) when she sold the "exclusive" interview and baby photos to the mag.
In the interview, the 17-year-old talks about life with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, parenting classes and that her labor pains with Maddie Briann were blessedly short!
“They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours,” said Jamie. “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”
The former Zoey 101 star continued, “We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life!”
As for the baby's name, Jamie says: “Maddie is a name that Casey thought of, and I really liked it. Briann was because, a week and a half before she was born, one of Casey’s cousins, who he was really close with, passed. He was in a car accident. His name was Brian. She’s also named after my older brother, Bryan Spears. We just added another ‘N’ to it and made her Maddie Briann.”
