It's been speculated that pop tart Britney Spears took one look at her newborn niece Maddie last month, realized her 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn was a new mom to a little girl, and had some kind of mental or emotional "breakdown."
She cut short her trip to Mississippi and flew back to LA. A source says that for the next two days, Brit was "a bit dazed and distant", and wouldn’t answer any of her dad's questions and "had no enthusiasm for anything".
According to an insider, on June 21, at around 9.30pm, Jamie found his daughter naked on the bathroom floor, crying hysterically and mumbling to herself about wanting a baby girl.
Jamie rang the doctor, who rushed to Britney's side and diagnosed a breakdown.
A source says, "Seeing her little sister give birth was too much for Britney. It made her realize what a mess she’s in. She’s insanely jealous of Jamie Lynn having a girl because she’s always been desperate for a daughter.
'Jamie found her sobbing her heart out and repeating: 'It’s not fair, Dad, it's not fair.'
"He sat with her, cuddled her and stroked her hair. Then he got her some clothes and helped her into the bedroom before calling the doctor, who ordered her to rest.
"They bumped up her Melleril and Ativan because of the drama she was creating."

Comments
I don't think that Britney is jeolous of her younger Sister's child. I think that maybe seeing the baby and seeing her Sister being the 'Mommy' for the first time, must surely have upset Britney because regardless of why she does not have her boys with her, she still is a "Mommy" too and it would have made her realize how much she missed holding her own babies. By the way, Mellarill and Adivan are 2 prescriptions drugs that should Not be mixed! I just read up on the Drug Mellaril and the side effects are totally alarming. The Drug ' Ativan' ( Lorazapam) is a sedative that stops nervousness real quick but a side effect is Depression, which is something you certainly don't need. No alcohol can be consumed at all while taking these meds.
If you want the whole write up and the side effects, just email me anytime.
None of my business Britney its your life but why let a Doctor give you meds that can make you worse.
Britney if you're reading this, I'd suggest you get a second opinion from another Doctor.
