It's Elementary: Robert Downey Jr is Sherlock Holmes

downey Great news for Sherlock Holmes and Robert Downey Jr.fans: the Iron Man actor will don the funny hat, the pipe, the drug habit and the accent to play the great Victorian detective. The bad news is: the movie will be directed by Guy Richie.

T.i. might be a good movie if Richie can get his pre-Madonna brilliant groove back and do work like he did with "Snatch" and "Two Smoking Guns". If not, or if he finds a reason to cast wife Madonna in the film, it's gonna be a wreck.

Brinkley Divorce Settled: Christie Gets the Kids, Peter Gets the Porn

According to reports, lawyers for both Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook were thrashing out a divorce settlement until 6:15 this morning, and everyone’s got what they wanted. Christie is getting sole custody of her kids. Peter keeps his porn addiction.

The agreement was reached early this morning after an "all night" negotiation session at a Manhattan hotel, which follows eight grueling days of horrid details in their high profile divorce.

madonna Madonna issued a subtle statement claiming she is "not romantically involved with Alex Rodriguez" - which doesn't mean much when you consider that you don't have to be romantic with someone necessarily to be having an affair with them. A-Rod's friends are saying he's having an affair with Madonna and has been seeing her for months.

Meanwhile, Alex's wife, C-Rod (Cynthia), has filed for divorce but it sounds like there's a lot more wrong in that union than just his infatuation with Madonna and Kaballah. C-Rod says A-Rod couldn't pick out his own 3-month-old daughter in a baby line-up becuz he's only seen her once - for 10 minutes.

The Beehive Throws Punch At HER OWN Bodyguard

ami winehouse Amy Winehouse gave her own bodyguard a damn good thrashing which scores as her third fistfight in two weeks. The Daily Mail reports: "Returning home from the Good Mixer, one of her regular Camden haunts, Amy hit her waiting bodyguard directly in the face last night."

T.i. comes after Amy attacked a Glastonbury fan last week after he insulted her jailed husband Blake and she hit another fan outside her Camden flat claiming he had pinched her bottom, and the one before that whom she hit for touching the Beehive. Wait ..that's how many people the Beehive has hit in the last two weeks?
