Calling the decision 'astounding', singer Boy George has been denied a visa and entry to the U.S. He was refused permission because of an ongoing court case in London. Okay so maybe he did chain a hooker to the wall of his apartment...
...but that doesn't mean the U.S. must retaliate for England's ban on Martha Stewart. Dueling Diva Bans!
Neither celeb poses any threat to society: Boy is merely "on trial" and has not been convicted of anything. Meanwhile, Stewart was wrongly convicted for lying - about a crime that the court ruled didn't happen!
The ruling means Boy George won't be able to tour North America as planned this summer. His 24-date tour was to run from July 10 through August 23.
George is obviously shocked and not happy about the news, "There are a number of public figures who are openly using drugs and they have no problem with immigration and I have seriously turned my life around and I feel great right now and this is just another reminder of how bad things were.
"I committed a crime and I happily paid the consequences and I should be allowed to move on and get on with what I do best and that is performing and making people dance and cry!"
