Forget a sequel to 'Point Break' - that didn't pan out - but ailing Patrick Swayze will still be returning to work soon. His new series for A&E, The Beast, has been announced and is scheduled to begin shooting later this summer. Swayze, 55, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May is doing well and responding to treatment.
Swayze plays a vet agent will play an FBI agent named Charles Barker who's assigned a new partner who's secretly a double agent.
A&E spokesman Michael Feeney said recently of Swayze and "The Beast" that the actor completed a "phenomenal pilot in December." The series will air early next year.
