The rumors of a split up between Madonna and hubby director Guy Richie just refuse to go away. The latest report says that she has hired a divorce lawyer and she's in a sticky wicket because there was no pre-nuptial agreement done when the two married eight years ago.
A divorce could force Madonna to give up half her fortune. And her British accent.
Presumably, Guy would make out great from the split from the Material Girl. He'd get something north of $150 million, probably get to keep the manor house in the English countryside, and hot young girlfriend, and get his directing career back which has been in the sh*tter ever since he married Madge.
According to the website Holy Moly, sources have revealed that Madonna has hired Britain's toughest divorce lawyer, Nicholas Mostyn QC, who also handled Paul McCartney's side of the split from Heather Mills.
The source suggests the reason for the split is nothing major - just a "growing apart".
Natch, Madonna's reps are calling the story "completely untrue."
