50 Cent is suing his baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his son 10-year-old son Marquise, for defamation after she publicly claim Fiddy (real name Curtis Jackson) was responsible for the arson fire last month that burnt down her his own house - with her and Marquise in it.
"Who do I think did it? Curtis Jackson," Tompkins told The Post last month. "He threatened me that he was going to have someone visit me. My kids are in the house. Who would try to kill your own kids? He's supposed to be all about being a gangster ... that's not a gangster, that's a coward."
The NY Daily News reports on why 50 is fighting back against the accusations: "There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods," 50's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, says. "Besides hurting his reputation, they have a damaging impact on their son."
The rapper charges that since the fire destroyed the $2.5 million Long Island mansion, Tompkins has refused to let him see Marquise - or even tell him where he's at.
Fiddy was granted the right to evict the squatter Tompkins (and his own child) from the house in April by a court order.
He told a radio station: “I haven't dealt with her since 2003…. She ain't had a job, she ain't done nothing. I was giving her $500,000 a year.”
Well, 50 had no motive to burn down his own crib since she and her live-in boyfriend and teen daughter (by another daddy) were under court order to leave by June 1 (the day after the fire) anyway.
Baby mama has a lot more explaining to do - like why 4 adults can't get out a door and all end up on an large upstairs balcony to be dramatically rescued...
