Rocker and serial celebrity dater John Mayer loves that the gossip rags have linked him to yet another Hollywood beauty - Jennifer Aniston. How else is the guy going to get into the news? Anyway, he recently hinted that all that stuff written about him in the mags that he is romancing Jen is oh so true - and that we should make up some more if we like.
The pair was snapped embracing on a Miami beach last week, prompting speculation they are an item.
On Monday night at New York's Costume Institute Gala. the 30-year-old Mayer said of the tabloid claims, "You know what I did? I looked at it (the reports) and I said, 'That's about right.' What am I going to say, 'That's not me?'"
The former beau of Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Minka Kelly -- and maybe Cameron Diaz and Rhona Mitra and Mischa Barton and many others (but not Heidi Klum - despite the rumors) -- enjoys being snapped by paparazzi with beautiful women.
