Ashlee Simpson will take her new husband Pete Wentz’s surname, according to People.com.
The pop tart’s real name will be Ashlee Wentz, but professionally she’ll be known as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," Ashlee told people. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."
Ashlee, 23, and the Fall Out Boy bassist, 28, married on May 17. They married at her parent’s California home with the ceremony performed by her father, Joe. Ashlee’s big sister, Jessica, was the maid of honour.
Simpson and Wentz started dating in late 2006.
