Madonna's Adoption Approved by Malawi Court

Madonna has been given final approval to adopt two-year-old David Banda by a Malawi court.

The ruling comes 18 months after the pop queen started adoption proceedings for the child.

Justice Andrew Nyirenda described Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie as "perfect parents", with David’s father - Yohane - saying: "I am glad David has a new, good home."

Sarah Jessica Parker and her 'Sex and the City' co-stars have attended the American premiere of their movie in New York.

"We've got this crazy weather so there is like added electricity in the air," Kristin Davis said of the stormy conditions.

"We were all worried about our fans but they are die-hard New Yorkers and they can take anything," she added.

50 Cent Employee Arrested at Rapper's Home

A male employee of 50 Cent has been arrested for allegedly attacking a woman at the rap superstar’s mansion.

Dwayne McKenzie, 27, was arrested on Tuesday, police have revealed, following a call from the 22-year-old woman.

The man is said to have choked the woman and hit her with a belt during an altercation at 50 Cent’s home.

The pop tart’s real name will be Ashlee Wentz, but professionally she’ll be known as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," Ashlee told people. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."

The singer was in town for the Film Festival last week and was shocked when footage of her hotel room appeared on French television.

Hip-hop mogul P. Diddy is so taken by the fetching actress Sienna Miller that he's planning to hire a ghost writer to write a movie for her to star in.

After being inspired at the Cannes Film Festival, he announced: "I'm writing a film, a comedy." And it's already cast in his mind: "For actresses, I want Angelina Jolie and Sienna Miller."

Super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just paid a reported $70 million for a new home in the south of France not far from Aix en Provence. The 25-bedroom Chateau Miraval comes with vineyard, a moat, a lake, a swimming pool, and lots of fountains. And ponies. It's also comes as a surprise - since just last summer Brad had named New Orleans as his favorite place to live - and that has lots of water too! But Provence isn't Cajun French and besides, there's gonna be ponies. The kids are gonna love the ponies.

He's been seen out and about, and attended the recent Lakers' game looking much healthier than he looked a few months ago. Pop starlet Kylie Minogue turns 40 today. She’s expected to celebrate her big day with a family dinner in Germany as she takes a day off from her European tour.

Her parents are due to fly in from Australia, with Kylie’s little sister Dannii also jetting in for the celebrations.

Last week, the starlet celebrated her birthday early with an all-night party in Greece, with more than 100 people in attendance.
