"King of Queens" actress Leah Remini is drawing fire from fans for revealing on the Rachel Ray show that she lets her almost 4-year-old daughter continue to drink from the bottle (6 - 8 bottles a night!), and she's still in diapers and not potty-trained.
And one more thing: the kid sleeps between Leah and her husband every night and they have to put down towels because the kid wets the bed.
So Leah thought the doctors were lying when they told her babies were usually weaned off the bottle by 15 months?
Leah tells Rachael: “I’m very consistent; I give in. My daughter runs the house."
Leah says she is “conflicted” and that she’d like to try getting Sofia off the bottles, but can’t deal with the hysterics. It leaves her and her husband Angelo exhausted from preparing new bottles and changing diapers at all hours.
Leah also recognizes there may be health and psychological issues in letting this situation go on. “We’re hearing that it’s not good for her. In talking to our pediatrician, they almost fell off their chair when we said she’s still on the bottle. So I’m thinking maybe it’s not right.”
