A $1,000 bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of outlaw actor Shia LaBeouf from the People's Republic of Burbank after the dastardly menace to society failed to appear before a judge on charges of 'unlawful smoking' within the city limits on February 18. Neither bad boy Shia nor his attorney bothered to show up for the hearing.
The 'Transformers' star - who can soon be seen starring alongside Harrison Ford in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' - was also arrested in November on another absurd charge - for reportedly refusing to leave a Chicago pharmacy.
Speaking about the November incident, for which trespassing charges were eventually dropped, Shia said: "That was complete and utter insanity. I was a nincompoop, and it was a mistake I'm still completely embarrassed about."
"I was in the middle of a strange mind state. I can't diminish what happened at all. But I can say this - I'm not the first 21-year-old to be arrested for a misdemeanor. There are lessons in life I need to learn, and I'm learning all of them in front of the public."
However, a sane court commissioner in Burbank later recalled the arrest warrant for Shia after the actor's attorney arrived a day late to plead not guilty on LaBeouf's behalf.
Smoking a cig? Hanging out in Walgreens? What a rebel! This guy is bad ass. Chicks dig the bad boys!
