The bad news is, Lindsay Lohan has been cast in a new Charles Manson Family movie. The good news is, she'll be playing a drugged up, strung-out, acid-dropping, psychedelic hippie chick runaway who is easily manipulated to do bad things and later doesn't remember any of it. Well, helter skelter! Finally Linds gets a role that fits her like a glove.
Lohan, 21, has been cast in the movie 'Manson Girls', but she won't be playing Squeaky, Sadie Mae, Sandy, Gypsy, Ouisch or Snake.
Linds will play Nancy Pittman who was not one of the famous murderers from the Tate-LaBianca slayings in 1969, although Pittman later pleaded guilty to being an accessory to another murder in 1972.
Pittman grew up in wealthy home in Malibu, and at 16 she was introduced to Manson by a friend. She fell under his spell, moving in with him and becoming one of his most ardent followers - taking on the name "Brenda". She was home with the cult leader on the night he sent members of his Manson Family out to kill actress Sharon Tate and four others.
The film's director, Brad Wyman, confirmed the news. "Yes, I am doing it with Lindsay," he tells E! News.
