Heather Mills' own father thinks she's a greedy cow and recently spoke against her decision to drag her divorce from rock royalty Sir Paul McCartney through the courts.
Mark Mills questions why his daughter Heather didn't just settle months ago with the former Beatle. "He's offered her multi-millions. She should take that and stop what she's doing. It's plenty. She's being greedy. How much does she need?"
Well that's not what he said three weeks ago. In mid-February Mills was proud of his daughter going after the Beatle's $1 billion fortune, boasting that she should get at least 10 percent of Sir Paul's wealth which he accumulated over his 40+ year music career.
When his daughter chose to represent herself in court rather than hire a lawyer, Mills said then, "Not many people would fancy representing themselves, whereas Paul can afford the best lawyer money can buy. Heather will be torn to shreds. But she's not like normal people. She has no fear."
"It takes a lot of guts to go it alone at the High Court," he said. "For once I am proud of her. I think she deserves 80 million pounds - a tenth of what he's got."
A judge is due to return a decision on March 17 on what financial settlement Mills, 40, will receive after their four-year marriage ended in 2006.
