David Caruso - an actor so bad many people wonder why he has a career - is a spoiled diva on the set of "CSI: Miami" and he apparently struggles with delivering a single line of dialogue without requires multiple takes - all complete with his trademark "Removal Of The Sunglasses For Dramatic Effect" Move.
“(David) can't walk and talk at the same time, requires dozens of takes for simplest line-readings and can't even put his ‘CSI’ gloves on on-camera,” said a source going by the moniker “OnSetSnitch.”
“Snitch,” who claims to have worked on the production and witnessed almost 50 episodes of the hit show filmed over two years, contacted Defamer.com which had just posted another story about David, and the website decided to post Snitch’s Grade A Gossip Juice regarding David's sunglasses-enhanced acting method.
“Caruso is without a doubt, the most tortured, saddest man-child/ actor I've ever seen in over 15 years of movie and TV-making.” The alleged insider said. “He will cuss uncontrollably (often in front of a child actor) and blame everyone but himself for his inability to act. He used to hack up big loogies on the floor of the set, too, until a producer gently reminded him of sanitation and courtesy.”
"Oh, and he re-writes every scene he is in, so he is totally to blame for the hackneyed one-liners. He will take anything the writers give him, and destroy it. And the sunglass bit is all his, a truly innovative contribution to his character."
Apparently, Caruso is not in on his own joke. Weak actors rely on props to mess around with while working a scene, and for Caruso -- that means the Sunglasses. Good thing his show is set in Miami and not in a city that is often cloudy and overcast -- like Seattle.

I love David Caruso and I love CSI:Miami along with his other films and TV shows. I don't care whom says anything bad about this favorite actor of mine, everyone has their own opinion, and I thnik David is wonderful!! Even IF is was true about David, which I don't believe it is, it's an immense shame on how people, especially for money, will backstab and talk behind your back - anyone who can't treat others with respect should be ashamed of themselves because it IS a shame.

You are right, it is a shame HOW CARUSO MISBEHAVES ON THE SET. He of all people shoudl know better. But like the old folks say LITTLE TALENT HUGE EGO.

This is low down! I personally only watch CSI: Miami for David Caruso, I think he is great, and the way he does his sunglasses is the bomb, I would talk too if he took his sunglasses off and look sideways at me. I don't know why people stoop this low as to try and soil anyones name, its absurd, true or not, thats his business and the shows, not ours. No matter what, David Caruso has his fans, and they will always back him.

Mr. Caruso is my tv man and I think all u people r jugding inappropriatly. U don't know him personally and shouldn't judge him by celebrity gossipers. That's all that those people do is talk smack. Anyway he's a wonderful man and a GREAT actor!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
