The Spice Girls say they’d love to perform for Nelson Mandela at his 90th birthday celebrations this summer, although they haven’t actually been asked yet.
A star-studded concert is planned at London’s Hyde Park on 27 June to celebrate the former south African president’s milestone birthday.
"We're great friends of Mr Mandela and we would love to perform for him again," Melanie Chisholm said.
While Geri Halliwell added: "We were privileged enough to meet the man and he is just amazing.
"He's just an example of strength and humility and if we could be part of that, celebrating his life - wow."
