Jamie Lynn Spears is moving out of her mom’s Louisiana home to live with her dad in Los Angeles, it’s reported, because she’s had enough of mom Lynne controlling her life.
Jamie, 16, moved in with her mom after news of her pregnancy broke in December, as her mom wanted to try and keep her out of the public eye while she’s expecting.
“Jamie Lynn is moving to Los Angeles to live with her dad. She wants to be settled in before the baby is born in March or early April — and she wants to be closer to film projects she’d like to start after giving birth,” a source says.
It’s reported Lynn also wanted to keep Jamie away from her older sister, Britney, and any negative influence she could have on her.
“Jamie Lynn knows Britney smoked and drank during her pregnancy - and because Britney’s boys turned out fine, Jamie Lynn thinks her baby will be fine too,” a source says.
Jamie Lynn also hopes her Los Angeles move will help her to get things on track with baby-daddy Casey Aldridge, as source says.
“Jamie Lynn loves Casey and wants to marry him, but her mom is dead set against it. Jamie Lynn knows that once she’s out from under her mom’s thumb in Kentwood, she and Casey will be together.”
