Jessica Simpson could star in a new reality television show following her as she records her new album, the singer’s dad/manager says.
Joe Simpson hopes to get his daughter back into the public eye with a show on Country Music Television.
"With ‘Newlyweds’, she let everyone into her world. Then she had to shut the world out,” Joe says.
"Now she can open it up again so people can see, here's a girl struggling with self-esteem and finding her way. Country music is about storytelling, after all."
Simpson’s last reality show, ‘Newlyweds’, focused on the star’s relationship with husband Nick Lachey. The pair divorced in 2006, after the show’s fourths season had been broadcasted.
